A Wonderful Surprise

This last weekend I spent in California. I was there painting a mural for my parents in their new home. It took a lot of hard work and many hours but it came out a success. They completely loved it. It felt so good to contribute something to the house. With all of our hard work, that house has truly become a work of art, and a house of love.

While painting, I took photos of the process. It was amazing seeing the entire project in photos and watch it develop. I'm in the middle of resizing the photos and putting them together as a video time-lapse. It's going to take a couple hours because I think I took about 600 photos. About every 10-60 seconds I would snap a photo and the outcome is going to be great. I'll post it as soon as I finish!

So I've been looking around a LOT for a nice (affordable) winter jacket that I can ride my bike to work in, wear around town, or just throw on and head to the grocery store. I'm very particular about my clothes and it's been difficult to find a cute functional "waterproof" jacket. After hours of searching, I've finally caught the best catch! It reminds me of a jacket that my mom wore, only it was purple, and super vintage! But I thought this was the next best thing. I find myself leaning more and more towards things my mother would like... am I getting OLD???!

Christmas Time

I love sneaking around and hiding christmas presents! I'll be home for Christmas this year so I'm really excited. First christmas in the new, finished house!!! Me and Ez are going to have our own little holiday here, and then we fly out to California on christmas eve. Hopefully it's not stormy and snowed in again this year because I actually need to get somewhere.
